Our breakfast: with good food straight into the day
From 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., we serve a wide selection of breakfasts. The most important meal of the day deserves the best ingredients and conscientious preparation. Our bread and rolls are therefore prepared exclusively with fresh dough. In our bakery you will not find ready-made dough, but traditional baker’s craft, applying the experience from its long tradition in our parlour.
Discover our breakfast buffet and put together your favourite meal. Or take advantage of one of our a la carte meals for a small and at the same time fine breakfast. From savoury to sweet, we offer lovingly prepared breakfast dishes for all tastes. Our offer is refined with ingredients from the region.
You do not have to be a guest of the Erbenhofer Hotels to enjoy our breakfast offerings. Just drop by and start your day with a smile with our handmade dishes!

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. you will find snacks for in between as well as bread and rolls of excellent quality in our shop. With our varied range of snacks, sandwiches, sandwiches, cakes, soups or salads, you will always find a treat for in between. Whether it’s lunch to fortify yourself during a stroll through the city, a business lunch with colleagues or between lectures and seminars – you can feast with us at any time.

To go with our coffee specialities, we offer sweet pastries and excellent cakes. Choose your favourite between fruity cakes or chocolatey tarts. In addition to coffee, you will also find a large selection of teas and cocoa drinks.

Our bakery in the heart of Weimar
Our daily freshly baked rolls and handmade bread are the pride and joy of our cafe. Throughout our opening hours you will find bread and rolls of excellent quality, as confirmed by the Deutsches Brotinstitut e.V. (German Bread Institute). Several types of bread as well as three types of bread in our assortment are very good. On request, we are happy to cut your bread so that you can enjoy it right at home.
These baked goods are not the only baked goods we want to flatter your palate with. Breadsticks filled with chocolate or plum jam, focaccia or rustic baguette are just a few examples of our rich range of specialities, all of which are freshly prepared by hand every day.
Service with heart
We are happy to help you with your bread purchase and advise you on our bread range and help with ingredients. A pro pos content: We source our ingredients from the region. The flour, which is the basis for our baking specialities, comes from the Clauder Mühle Denstedt. Your favourite pastry is not included? No problem! We are open to suggestions for expanding our range. Tell us your wishes and we will be happy to bake breads to your taste.

In addition to the pleasures of the palate, we at Cafe Erbenhof have dedicated ourselves entirely to relaxation. We want to bring more relaxation into hectic everyday life and therefore cordially invite you to take a little break with us. From Brauhausgasse or Schillerstraße in the direction of the Gänsemännchenbrunnen, you can get directly to our shop without any steps.
In fine weather and sunshine in the inner courtyard and in all weathers in our seating area: in the snack bar in the Erbenhof you can enjoy without worrying. If you want to work via your mobile phone or laptop, that’s no problem: power sockets and WLAN are of course available. And should it take longer, our WCs are always open to you.
Children are just as welcome here as their parents. Children’s chairs and our inner courtyard give your youngest ones plenty of opportunities to pass the time. We are also always open to the food wishes of the new generation. We also have a surprise in store for those with a sweet tooth, whether big or small: in our parlour you will find Erbenhofer honey, collected by bees from Thuringia, in a practical jar. Of course, it tastes best on a slice of our excellent bread!
